Exterior painting

Render, walls, doors, windows and garden walls, in coatings made to stand up to the weather they will get.

Every job is done by Robbie.

House exterior finished in deep charcoal with black surrounds and white windows

On an exterior the preparation decides how long the paint lasts. The surface is cleaned down, anything loose comes off, repairs go in, and only then does the coating go on. Skip that and the new colour lifts with the old one.

It is the change people notice from the road. Both of the jobs on the before and after page are exteriors, photographed before the first coat and after the last.

  • Render, pebbledash and smooth walls
  • Fascia, soffit and gutters where they need it
  • Front doors, frames and windows
  • Garden walls, steps and railings
  • Washed down and prepared before anything is coated
  • Weather-rated coatings, chosen for the surface

Questions

Common questions about exterior painting

Anything dry and mild enough for the coating to cure. In Cork that moves around, so it gets planned around the forecast rather than the calendar.

Usually, yes. It is the right prep for an exterior and it is a service in its own right too.
