What we do
The work
Homes and new builds, inside and out. One room or the whole house.
Interior painting
Bedrooms, front rooms and full houses. Walls, ceilings and woodwork, all prepped before anything goes on.
Halls, stairs & landings
The part of the house that takes the most knocks. Spindles, strings and skirting cut in by hand.
Kitchens & living spaces
Hard-wearing finishes where there is steam and traffic, and ceilings left flat and even.
New builds
A house painted top to bottom before handover, every surface prepped and finished ready for the keys.
Exterior painting
Render, walls, doors and windows in coatings made to stand up to the Irish weather.
Power washing
On an exterior job the walls get washed down before they are painted. It can be booked on its own too, for driveways, patios and paths.

About
Robbie Leahy
Robbie here, the face behind Painted by Robbie. I started this with a simple idea and a lot of passion.
Making the decision to go out on my own as a sole trader was one of the biggest steps I’ve ever taken, but I believed in myself and kept going, even when things were uncertain.
“Every long day, every challenge, and every bit of hard work has been worth it.” Robbie

Questions
Before you ring
No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation. Send a few photos on WhatsApp and you will usually get a good idea of the price from there. If the job needs a proper look, we will call out.
Cork city and the areas around it, and out as far as North Cork. If you are further out, ask anyway and you will get a straight answer either way.
Trade paint, matched to the room: hard-wearing where surfaces take knocks, and a flat even finish on ceilings. If you have a colour picked we will work to it. If you have not, we will help you narrow it down.
It depends on the size of the job and the state of the surfaces. You get a timeframe with the quote, and if anything changes on site you hear it first.
Yes. Everything is covered and protected before a brush comes out, and the place is left clean at the end of every day.
Yes. Driveways, patios, paths, decking, walls, fencing and render. It can be done on its own, or as the prep before an exterior is painted.

Robbie repainted my kitchen/dinning room and hall stairs and landing recently. His work is top class and he was punctual each morning, worked away all day and cleaned up each day when he finished. I found him a pleasure to deal with, polite trustworthy and he gave me a reasonable price for such a professional service. I highly recommend him.Olivia Kent

Who else sees it
- The web host that serves this site, the form provider that delivers the message to Robbie’s inbox, and Cloudflare, which counts visits and holds a copy of each enquiry for up to 90 days for the counting, then deletes it.
